I haven't been able to find this knife anywhere, even on the bay. Now it appears ebay if flooded with the Dark Green 204P PM 2. All different sellers too. did they release a new batch of these? where are these all coming from?

It was a distributor exclusive that was purchased in its entirety by a single dealer. The knives just started shipping last week. Except for small numbers of knives that were shipped to dealers that have Spyderco Collectors Club subscriptions, you won't find these at any dealer other than the single dealer that took up the whole run. They've posted that they wound up with approximately 700 knives to sell after the CC knives were shipped. The pre-orders for the knife sold out in a few days and the knife has been extremely eagerly anticipated for almost a year and a half. If you want one, you should watch knife B/S/T fora and/or reconcile yourself to paying the going price on eBay... Since it is a distributor exclusive, rather than a sprint, it is possible that a second run could be ordered, but I very much doubt that this will happen.

That flood is from people that preordered the knives and are now selling them off. Nothing new at all. Jut find one on the Exchange here or buy one off ebay if you really want one. Te price doesn't look like it will be dropping anytime soon.

I really want one, but dont know if I can talk the wife into it right now. I was just allowed to order a BM M4 mini-grip and wilkins scales for it as a fathers days gift. If I would have known I would have held off for this knife. its too soon to ask to spend another $250.00, I guess I just have to miss the boat on this one : (

I guess I will just have to be happy to have one in M390 and one in S35VN. ....would love to have this one too but I guess, how many PM2s do you need

......scratch that, you can never have too many PM2's

Ah, see there is the hiccup. You need to save and keep "play money". Luckily, I don't have that issue. My wife doesn't care what I spend my money on so long as all the bills are paid and we have a stocked refrigerator and pantry. We each earn our respective income and do with the disposable amount as we please. She loves purses, shoes, make up, and other girly things. No permission required. I usually try and save some money each pay period for knives and firearms.

Yeah, theres plenty of money there, we both work and are doing better than most. but we try to limit frivolous spending as were working toward building a future that we'll both be able to retire early. If I really wanted to do it I could, but I guess I dont feel it would be right to spend that kind of money on another knife right now. we tell eachother about our spending and keep all our money together. I guess that knowing I would have to tell her, keeps me in check and I dont go overboard. maybe down the road I can get one. but the timing just isn't right.

maybe waiting is better anyway, I'm still enjoying my M4 mini-grip very much. The Wilkins scales really to make it 10 times awsomer (if thats a word). I try not to buy a new knife until I have wore out that new knife feeling on the last one

LMAO, I do too actually. It's a line from Chappelle's show referring to being off topic.
