Hi, I posted about my para2 about two weeks ago. In this post I explained that my knife had side to side blade play and no matter how tight I made the pivot and the stop pin screws, it would not go away. I know that is probably because of the busing system. Recently I decided to attempt to fix it. I was reading around and learned that some of these knives have a "sweet spot" and if you play around with tightening the screws, you will find it. I have had no luck doing this. I washed it and lubricated it and tightened all the screws. Now the blade play has gotten worse and the lock is very sticky. Im having no luck
. Any help? I have not taken this knife apart and I don't really think I will. I also have a Spyderco Cat in customer service due to up and down play. I didn't even have the knife for a day. This para2 is also the earth brown g10 version. I just don't want to have to send it in.
Thanks,
George
