Spyderco Paramilitary 2 (May be fake....I'm new and need everyones help!)

[Hey guys....I've recently become a big knife collector, also I am new to the Forums, and was looking for an All Black Paramilitary 2 and may have made the "eBay" mistake on this one..the guy had over 300 positive reviews and it seemed ok

Something just doesn't feel right with this one.....you guys let me know what you think THANKS!!

Problems I see:

Weight just feels off, a little to light
G10 seems to smooth
Lettering on blade seem a little big and in wrong spot
Locking System has rough sharp edges (not smoothed out)...and i though the black blade ones were suppose to have stainless locks

Maybe positives?

Liners are solid (not skeletonize)
Spyderco logo on blade looks very clean and is not raised at all

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK!!!

Welcome. Sorry to have you under these circumstances. Hope you stick around for the good times. Pictures would be best.
And if you payed alot less than you should have that is a good sign.

Perhaps you can send it back for your money. That is a crap knife. I wish you luck, the spider is also a totally different shape. Everything on it is off.

It was EBay so i can get my money back....may take a minute but I will get it back for sure
 
The cutout for the compression lock is wrong. The placement of the logo on the pocket clip is also wrong. The jimping is not angled plus all the other stuff listed by everyone else. Sorry to hear you got a fake and I hope you get your money back. Take it as a lesson learned and stick with confirmed dealers of Spyderco. Welcome to the forum by the way.
 
I am pretty sure there isn't the additional designer's logo on the other side of the spyderhole as well (side closer to the tip.) I have handled quite a few PM2's, it will be worth it once you get a legitimate one!
 
Yup. Classic fake. Send it back. You should post the ebay sellers screen name. If it is a pattern we can add him to the list of folks not deal with and post this in the spyderco fakes thread in the spyderco forum.
