Hi, I am a newbie. I saw a black S30V PM2 and it said satin blade, is that correct? Are they all satin? Or polished? Is there a difference.

Thanks
Howard

From what I know, satin is what they call their non coated blades. So its more of a brushed steel look...

The paras have either a black coated blade, or a satin finish. Mine is satin and its like brushed metal, but its shiny. Its not polished, but the surface is smooth.

Satin finish means brushed. Shiny, but not like a mirror. Polished usually should mean that it has a mirror like finish.
