Hi im new here and to the online ordering thing. what is the best site to order a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 from? Have read about all the fakes and things like that and would like to avoid it.

Thank you for the reply. I looked at knifeworks and liked there site. but when checked Spyderco's retailer list there not on it so it steered me away

I'm a big national and Knifeworks fan but really any of the sponsored dealers are a safe bet.

Knifeworks has a pretty sweet sale on Para 2's right now with free shipping to boot. I have no affiliation with them at all, but I almost feel bad paying a hundred bucks shipped for a knife as good as the s30v para 2.
 
Bought 3 Spydies from Knifeworks in the last month and a half.

Prob going to support some other venders in the future, but no complaints.

Seems strange to me as Spyderco has made lots of exclusive's for them. I have purchased numerous times from them in the past, never with a problem. Roger and his staff provide quality customer care as well.

I've dealt with Knifeworks, BladeHQ, and the exchange here at BF. PM2's are regularly on the exchange, just have to act quick.
 
Not every vendor carries every version of the PM2. High demand and limited production can make 'in stock' problematic. And sprint runs can be exclusive to a single vendor.

I was wanting a Blacked-out PM2 and had to contact a few vendors until I found it 'in stock' at Howes Knife Shop.

Howes Knife Shop, KnifeWorks, National Knives, GPKnives, BladeHQ are the vendors I check first with 100% confidence.
