Hey,

Im looking for a Spyderco for around 90 Dollars.
I saw a pretty cheap para 2.
Everybody is telling me that thats the best one.
My brother has one, and its awsome.

Yes, you can get them with S30V blade for less than 100 bucks, if you shop a little. Excellent lockup; very easy to deploy and unlock one-handed.
I have more than a few.

If you want to buy a knife, start a thread in the Want To Buy section of the Exchange. You can also, keep your eye on the For Sale section here and see if something comes up.

This specific forum should not be used for WTB ads though. ;)

I love my para 2 and it always seems to find a place in my pocket. If anything, check out the dealer forums. There are always good deals to be found.

I was not looking for a Para 2 since I thought it was probably too big for edc but last week I happen to see a "used-like-new" Para 2 on Amazon for $95. I used a $25 Amazon coupon and got it for $70 with free shipping. They could have sold it as new since I would never have known the difference. It is in perfect condition. If it had not been such a great deal, I would have never found out just how great that knife is. Perfect size, perfect blade, perfect edc. If you find a deal on one, go for it and ask "should I get it?" about something else. This is a definite must have.

I highly recommend this knife, I have three of them. Best knife design I have ever come across. Very practical and ingenious platform from Spyderco. GET IT!

I just got my all black pm2 recently, and its AMAZING. The ergonomics and the quality is great. I put a urban camo "rattlesnake" lanyard and it just looks amazing. I picked mine off knifecenter for $124, still better than going to my local store and paying full msrp.

I have a PM2 and I really like it. I had no experience with them but saw so many recommendations on these forums that I had to buy one to try. I like blue so that is the one that I bought but I paid twice as much for it as what you are looking at. My impressions of the blue one are that it is a very smooth knife to operate, it came from the factory very sharp, and its handle is a bit large compared to the blade size. I don't have a problem with its size in my jeans pockets and for me the handle size is actually an advantage. If the OP can get one for $90 or less I think that is an excellent deal. When I first started looking at them the standard models were sold out in many places and almost impossible to find for sale used.
