spyderco perrin ppt availability?

where have all the spyderco perrin ppts gone ?? they used to be available all over the place not to long ago, now most places are out of stock. this is was a taiwan made knife so i hope it doesnt become unavailable like what happened to the spyderco cat and chicago.

The cat and chicago were discontinued due to production quality issues. The PPT is probably just in need of another production run.

amazon has one in stock...look on google shopping, i'm sure there are a couple other places that still have a few.

The way I understand it, the same Taiwanese maker of the Bradley and PPT requires Spyderco to order in larger lots (1200?) so Spyderco wants to make sure they are selling well enough to justify the larger order. So with that consideration and the lead-time involved that is why we are seeing the dry periods with both.
