Spyderco Persian 3.5 inch

Sweet knife. Workmanship and materials are top notch. Very ergonomic handle and blade angle. A little on the heavy side but very well balanced. However I can't seem to put my Dodo down long enough to give the Persian folder any serious carry time. :(

Harry,
Simple solution..CARRY THEM BOTH!!!!! ;)

cds1,
I don't own a Persian but I've handled them at my local knife shop. I think that it's a great knife especially for the price. The handle looks very classy and the blade looks awesome. The ergo's on this piece will make the Persian feel like it's one with your hand. With an MBC rated lock, the Persian is one of the best buys out there.

I´m in the market for one those as well. Loved the
merging between my hand and the handle.

Would you guys recommend it to someone that already has the Chinook II? They seem very similar, except for the more stylish handle on the Persian, and a slightly longer blade on the Chinook.

I have both. I would almost have to call the Persian a dress Chinook. The Persian has similar attributes, but is a lighter duty knife compared to the Chinook. Thinner blade, not as strong a lock (based on Chinook being MBC rated)and slimmer profile handle. I think the Persian has a better feel in the hand. It does come with a single clip option though.

If you have the extra cash and are looking for dressier knife similar to the Chinook, this would be it.
