Spyderco Persistence on the way

Recently I received a Sod Buster and decided to "waste" more money. I say "waste" because my parents don't understand my love of knives. I recently ordered a Spyderco Persistence. I know it is a bit cheaper and smaller than the Tenacious. I realized how big the Tenacious was and wanted a smaller one. Once it arrives I'll post a first impression and a few pictures.

Congrats.

I've got the entire family (Resilience, Tenacious, Persistence, and Ambitious) and always had a soft spot for the Persistence. Personally I think the size and ergonomics are the best of the bunch. It fits my hand just right and feels good to hold. Mine has very good F&F and smooth action. The G-10 handle, liner lock, and jimping (on the spine and liner) make it a great value IMO. Being FFG it's also a good little slicer. Blade length is its only limitation. You won't be slicing anything larger than, say, a Roma tomato.

Look forward to pics when you get it.

I always have a sod buster close by for dirty jobs. I think you'll enjoy the Persistence. Fit and feel are good and for the money I can't complain. It works hard too
