Do any of you know the size of the two allen head screws on the handle of this knife. I thought I had an allen that would fit them, but it's just a tad too bit. And it just happens to be the smallest one I have..

.

I took my blade out to clean a black greasy film that was in there. But now I can't get the blade pivot hole and washers lined up perfectly when I go to reinstall it. So instead of forcing things back together, it looks like it would be easier just to take one side of the handle off, open it up, and install the blade that way..

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they are metric. 1.5mm and 2

Metric hex screws. 1.5mm in the handle and 2mm pivot screw. The handle is a tricky bugger with the standoffs and the thong tube.

Isn't it Torx rather than Allen/Hex? You could damage the splines on the screws and/or your tool if you use the wrong type even if they will sometimes fit.

Some Persistence's have torx, while others have allens. A long time ago somebody thought i couldnt tell the difference between the torx/allen. They didnt believe it untill i posted pics.

The one I have definitely uses Allen/Hex screws to fasten the G10 to the liners.

The little 1.5mm Bondhus driver that I bought on Flea-bay fits them perfectly...

Is there an obvious time division when they changed? It would be comforting to know they don't change at random!
