Hey everyone !
I have edc spyderco persistence .. I really like the knife .. The size and shape feels good in my hand when I use it ... I think this is a really nice knife for the money ! I really dont like the cheaper steel and it does not open very smooth . Other then that its a great knife ,, So I would like to ask .. what knife is like the spyderco persistence only smoother and better steel ... Manix or a Sage ??
Thanks .
Have a great day as well !

Both the manix and sage are great knives and about the same size with the manix being slightly larger; both are extremely smooth. I think the sage 1 is about the perfect knife for carrying everyday.

You may also want to check out the Endura and delica with the FFG. They use vg-10 and frn scales (which I don't like, but some love them).

I been kinda thinking of getting the sage ,,, what the difference between sage 1 and the sage 2 ?

I can highly recommend the Sage 1. It is a great EDC knife for sure. Honorable mention goes to the FFG Delica in your choice of color.

Sage 1 = Carbon Fibre handles and liner lock. Sage 2 = Titanium handles and frame lock.

Sage one is carbon fiber with a liner lock, Sage 2 is a titanium frame lock. The blades are the same. I just got the Sage 2 carried it all week, I don't think I'll be replacing it any time soon.

Kewl .. thanks for the answers .. Think I will go with a carbon fiber sage . Looks like an awesome knife .. maybe spyderco will come out with a better per or ten ! thanks again !
