Spyderco Pingo

Mine needs to go to Golden for a repair, but I like it a whole lot. I especially like the thick stick AND FFG.

The hole on the Spyderco pingo's blade is exactly the right size to accept a thumbstud off a Benchmade Sequel or 940.

That's a nice find. I suppose that should allow one-handed opening/closing which was a hangup of mine with this knife. Blade shape is nice looking.

I like mine. Both of them.

Did you make those scales? I'm thinking if I order one I may order some of those scales from Germany or the guy that makes the titanium ones. There's a guy from here that makes scales for it but he won't email me back.

I got those a year or more ago. Got them in trade from a guy on here. He does them as a hobby.

I have a Pingo and freakin' love it. Great blade shape and an extremely useful knife. I did add a thumb stub, can't remember the exact size, but for $10 I added another feature to the Pingo and it is now a one handed opener.

I'd love to see a G10 version and honestly, I've almost bought the TI version a couple of times.

Spyderco's most under appreciate knife by far.

Here's a shot of one I had a while back, reprofiled the edge bevel and she cut down through this dense book, not too easy with a small blade

There is a Ti/Elmax Pingo on Massdrop right now. The price looks right and is very tempting....if I weren't so freaking broke. Looks like a fun little knife.
