spyderco pingo?

It's OK but it doesn't really push my buttons... if I'm gonna carry a two-handed opening slipjoint, I'd prefer something traditional like a Case or a Douk-Douk. If I lived in Denmark I'd probably get one on pre-order though. :p

Interesting. The SpyderHole looks so small! I'm sure someone will be along to set me straight, but I can't think of a Spyderco folder that wasn't a one-handed opener. Is this a first?

Nope. As mentioned the DKPK was one of their 2 hand openers. Basically designed to conform to the laws of Europe. It doesn't float my boat much, mainly because it appears to be a bit on the smaller side.

The Pingo is the replacement for the DKPK, because some people were able to open the DKPK one handed, which made it illegal in the Denmark Market that it was designed for.

I wish Spyderco would break bad and make a slipit that looks like a for real slip joint - something with carbon fiber scales. They could make the handle 3 & 5/8" long and use the spyder menuki for a shield. Use whatever steel.

This is such a good idea I'm going to post it in that forum too.

Interesting knife. I like how Spyderco tries to accommodate knife people around the world with various laws. I might consider giving this a try.

As a big fan of Jens Anso and Vox, I love the design, and really love that Spyderco tries to accommodate knife enthusiasts the world over.

Interesting. Reminds me (unsurprisingly) of the Rhino a little.

I really didn't think there was a single country that had worse knife laws than the one where I live :(

That's what I was really hoping this would be before I hit the link. I'd love one.

But the pingo still looks interesting, I really like the blade shape
