Hey hey friends...up for sale today is my Spyderco P'Kal, along with its trainer equivalent, and the Shivworks DVD, "Reverse Edge Methods, vol. 1," hosted by Craig Douglas, who, in collaboration with Trace Rinaldi and Spyderco, created the knife.

In all my years of studying bladed self-defense, I've found that this combo is the best in that area. The techniques are simple, with a very short "learning curve," and the knife as produced by Spyderco is the ne plus ultra for those who must use a folder for "social purposes."

The knife has G-10 handles, S30V steel, and is made in "Golden, Colorado USA Earth." The "wave" stud is removable for areas with legal restrictions on such.

The knife shown here has seen a bit of pocket time, but remains in excellent condition, with the superb lock-up typical of Mr. Glesser's ball-bearing design. Both the knife and its trainer have my old Spyderco Collector's Club number, but otherwise are standard and un-modified. The pocket clips have been switched to the right side, as I carry on my left; for those familiar with the "waved" RGEI draw, it is best accomplished with the clip mounted "weak side."

The DVD is from the original pressing, with the original box, and the video has the earnest, low-budget charm reflecting its pragmatism. A forewarning: the sound in the last chapter of the DVD is slightly out-of-sync, which I'm told is found in all copies of the video. Mr. Douglas presents his style simply and clearly. The video was produced before the P'Kal was introduced, so Shivworks' excellent Clinch-Pick and Disciple are used. Newer, short video segments are available on youtube showing the use of the subsequent P'Kal in context with REM.

For this package, I am asking $175.00, shipped, to anywhere in the continental USA. No foreign orders, please. Paypal preferred. Sorry collectors, there are no boxes.
