This knife is SPF right now.

Price is shipped USPS Priority, insurance is $2.50 extra and recommended. Paypal only with no fees.

I have a Spyderco P'kal, only carried a couple times, only cut a couple things ever. I touched up the edge on the 30 degree Sharpmaker setting to hair whittling sharpness off of the UF stones and then 3M lapping films. The microbevel is so small it looks like it still has the factory edge, but it is much sharper than factory. Very sharp and ready for SD if needed. It is in near perfect condition, it looks NIB, maybe a tiny mark on the G-10, ultra smooth lock and action, and comes in original box, bag, and with the Emerson opener paperwork in the box. The knife looks new and locks up solid. This is a very nice knife that is a great SD knife but would make a great EDC cutter as well.

Asking Price Drop Was $145 now $130 to your door.

First I'll take it gets it.

Hello,

is there any vertical blade-play in the action when locked open? Also, does it snap open consistently using the Emerson wave feature?

Thanks!

No vertical play, at least with me yanking at it. It deploys extremely fast and 100% for me after minimal practice. There is a video on you tube by Shivworks that shows you the proper deployment of the knife (using the knife against the front of your pocket, not the rear) and it shows you just how fast the knife comes up to the perfect grip and position for P'kal strikes. This knife is an amazing purpose built knife that is absolutely perfect for the application. Coming from Spyderco this perfect execution to the design intention is not surprising, they just have it down when it comes to nailing the details to make a knife perfect for it's intended purpose.
