PM2 or SR2. Regardless of the price tag, knife to knife, which once would you take?

SR2 is a beautiful piece, PM2 is also a beauty of its own. Both have excellent steel & blade shape.
Tell me ur opinion

i would rather pick pm2 as i like spyderhole, the blade shape and grinds better. I my self never had a chance to hold SR2.

Easy choice for me as I really like the compression lock, it's fast to flick open and closed.

Regular frame locks in general don't do much for me anymore. I'm actually one of those who prefer the assist feature on ZT's and Kershaws for example (seems to be a minority on the forum)... I figure if it's going to be a cross your finger in front of the blade slow to close frame lock might as well have some kick on the way out.

I would take the SR2, there isn't much about the PM2 that I like. Really, go with whichever one you like the looks of. They're both excellent knives from top-tier companies in the production knife world, there isn't a bad choice between them. They can easily be returned or traded if you don't like the one you get.

Take this for what it is worth, because I actually don't even know what the Lionsteel SR2a is (well, just looked at a picture of one, seems hard to compare it to a PM2...), BUT... the Spyderco PM 2 is BY FAR my favorite knife (currently own three, despite the difficulty in obtaining them at a reasonable price) and this is particularly relevant because I AM NOT that much of a Spyderco fan in general, because I find their knives too expensive for me generally and I normally am not fond of the spyderhole because it makes their knives too wide in my pocket.

The PM2 fits in my pocket well though and I LOVE the compression lock (THOUGH I seriously have an issue with the fact both of the new ones I purchased required adjustment to get it working properly, which should not be required on a knife at this price level, and I personally think Spyderco's warranty dept s*cks... but when you figure out how to adjust it, you can get past this). Just overall the perfect size, weight, everything. I do prefer to add a Cuscadi geared backspacer though, which makes the grip feel a bit better for me (though getting the lanyard insert off to install it is bit of a b*tch...).
