Spyderco PM2 - I think I'm in love

Long story short, I mistakenly got a Tenacious about 6 weeks ago and it has really grown on me.
To the point where I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on a ParaMilitary 2 when I recently had the opportunity.

I figure, if this is something I carry every day, why not drop $100+?
I wear my watch every day and it was several hundred, so why not put a great EDC blade in that same category in terms of spending?

Anyway, I picked up one of the un-coated camo PM2s and I must say, I'm lovin it.

Now I see what the internet has been saying about PM2s and their outstanding quality.
This thing is sweet. I've been fondling it non-stop for about 30 hours now :p

Welcome to the club. Just learn the secret handshake and pick up your decoder ring from that big hairy guy over in the corner.

And don't go spreading around how great these knives are. We don't want the unwashed masses getting in here.

There's really nothing NOT to like about the PM2 (except, maybe, how hard they are to find sometimes!):

Fine addition sir, they honestly are a staple in my pocket/bags.

For the record:
I have Striders , CRK's, Brous, Emerson, Microtech etc... etc.. etc.. and the PM2 is ALWAYS in competition for pant estate.

The thin blade profile with the ergo's is definitely a win win for EDC. Pair her up with a solid "hard use" knife and you're golden, enjoy.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, the whole "pair up for hard use" thing, I can relate. I want this Para 2 in my pocket, but I don't really wanna beat on it too much.

I usually have a couple beaters in that bag in the background of these pics.
Currently, Lightning OTF and a Kershaw Clash I think.
Gonna have to take out that novelty knife and toss the Tenacious in there.

Just curious, do you carry that thing tip down with the lanyard....?

Seems like it would kinda defeat the purpose...? but then again, I'm just a dumbass

Rasco ~~ if you are going to carry -- might as well carry the best.** Nothing better than a Spydie clipped in your pocket.!

The knife being really easy for a lefty to drop when trying to close is a good reason. Really sharp pointy knife - 0; unperferated foot - 1

Perfect folder knife for me in feel, size, function, and price. I've been playing around with the pivot screw a little bit to find what works best for me. I tightened the screw so the knife is stiff when opened but I use my thumb and index finger for a controlled deployment.

I actually did for a couple of weeks but it was kinda awkward. I eventually removed the lanyard and tossed it in a drawer.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

You now own one of the finest folders ever designed. Congratz.
I love the P-Mil but I EDC an SnG because of the strength and simplicity of the design.
