Just finished this last night! Used a full box of royal blue Rit dye. I'll try and get some better pics today.

Nice! Is this your first time Rit dying? You shouldn't have to use a whole pack of dye for one knife. I normally use about a tablespoon or so.

Doesn't the rit rubs off? G10 is impervious to water, so any RIT would only be deposited on the surface. Or is this treatment only ment for safequeens?

The Para I just posted was carried pretty steadily for a year after I dyed it and this is what the handles looked like. The pics I posted earlier were taken after I re-dyed it.

It's extremely durable.

Yes, this was my first time RIT dying. I followed your DIY to a "t" and it just didn't do anything, so I progressively added more dye and longer soak times until I got the color I wanted. Even with the whole packet in the water I still probably had to soak it for 25-30 minutes to get what you see.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I have been wanting to do this for a while and now I think I might just go for it.
