Spyderco Pocket Clip Suggestion

Spyderco offers some of my favorite blades. But their pocket/belt clip is not so great while wearing a Navy uniform. The standard belt worn with all Navy uniforms is 1.25" x .125" and it just doesn't work so well with it. I did notice yesterday that the Native offers a clip that would work well but does not tansfer to my current favorites. Just thought I'd put this out there and see what you guys think. Below are some comparisions vs the benchmade.

Clip to the waist band or pocket. Then again you could dump the clip and have knife in the pocket. Clips are convenient but they advertise knife on board and can always snag stuff and then there goes the knife.
Another thing you might want to consider is to get a deep carry clip from Benchmade for that Grip pictured. You can also check out some of the knife suppliers that have aftermarket clips.
That Benchmade clip is for the Contego and fits most BM knives and is free for the asking and will fit a military style belt that is 1.5" Sorry this isn't much help with the Spydercos.

The benchmade clip is pretty much perfection for belt carry, sorry I wasn't so clear on that. Belt carry is really the only option I have wearing coveralls onboard due to regulations and the loose pockets.

The Spyderco military clip should be deep enough to clear the belt you have.

Knives: Delica and Para 2. I have a spare benchmade clip I'm going to grind and polish first to see how that turns out. If that doesn't go well Im either going to go with the STR or a single sheath from Maxpedition.

Spyderco should really put some other pocket clip designs into production or go back to the standard 3 hole benchmade/emerson hole spacing.
