Which one would you prefer?

VG10 vs 154cm

Both thin light huge blades- i believe both ffg.

Lemme know what you think.

I like the old Police SS style and balance and would choose one of those. Between the Police 3 and Onslaught - I think I would try out the Onslaught first, even though I'm mostly a Spyderco and Cold Steel fan.

It would seem strange for me to get a Police 3 instead of just getting a Military. The old Police is a classic and a beauty.

That Onslaught blade just screams slicer. And the FFG blade is pretty darn wide. I can see slicing tomatoes with it easily.

The Police 3 is FFG, but it is not very wide at all. Seems like more of a stabber than a slicer.

But I love the Police 3 for its slimness. For a carry knife I would pick the Police 3. I carry mine often.

I have got Onslaught and I have had Police in the past - very shortly before getting it sold.
The only issue with Onslaught for me - it is so huge. Mini Onslaught is about perfect in my opinion. But both version better than Police. Police is a bit ridiculous from my personal prospective. Did not understand it at all. The blade is so long and so thin at the end so it does not seem practical to me. And I did not like SS version at all - neither in Police, no in Endura.

I own both. The Police is easy to carry, very thin. VG-10 is a dream to keep sharp. But when it comes to use and ergo's the Onslaught spanks the Police. The Axis lock is WAY better than the simple back lock, the grip is MUCH better on the BM and the wide blade on the BM makes it the better slicer (they're pretty much the same thickness). Deployment always goes to Axis lock folders.
So: once in hand, the BM. In the pocket, the Spyderco. :D

I think it would be practical at altering someone's bad behavior, which is the apparent purpose of the knife. But I know what you are maybe saying - that it is not so practical for EDC tasks, and I agree.

I have Endura in my EDC rotation - that is the knife I like. And I do not ever miss these few millimeters difference. They are ridiculous. :D

I'm a big fan of the Police 3. It has a very thin side to side profile & carries extremely well, as mentioned. Especially for a 4 1/8 blade. The blade is full-flat ground & thin enough to slice well. I like the ergos too. I also like the AFCK & the New Voyager handles, so that's the types of handles I like. It's a personal thing. The lock is nothing fancy but is very well done & inspires confidence.

I haven't handled an Onslaught yet but they look like two very differently designed knives & likely won't appeal to the same knife nuts for the same reasons. The Onslaught seems to be a big, beefy stout folder. Both are well made with quality materials. It comes down to which design appeals to you most.
