Spyderco Police Customizing

I'm about to purchase a new spyderco police thats fully serrated and I want to do some customizing on it..


I want to engrave soemthing on the scales and I also want to make some type of grooves on the spine of the blade..

Can any of you give e some ideas on where i can get these done modifications done..Pictures would help

With a steady hand, a dremel, and a cutoff wheel, you can do a lot of this yourself. I added a little jimping to the spine of my Dodo this way. For a really simple modification, you can add grip tape to the sides of the handle.

I'm not sure about engraving though, that's an artistic endeavor I have no experience with and I believe is quite difficult.
