Spyderco Police mod etching?

Figured I'd take this questions to the expert masses.
I'm looking for the Spyderco Police with G 10 scale sides. I think this is the Police 3?
I can't find it with the "police" etched onto the blade like the older stainless have. I do RARELY see the G 10 police models with "police" etched on the blades.
Why is this and where could I find them? Maybe someone out there wants to get rid of one for a price If you do I can provide me number and we can talk. Thanks guys!

There have been three releases of the Police model with G-10 scales. The first had the hollow saber grind blade with POLICE engraved in the blade and no liners.



The second had a full flat grind, single liner on the clip side and may or may not have POLICE engraved on the blade.

The third is the current Police 3, a slightly larger version with full flat grind, full liners, 4 way clip option and only the bug logo on the blade.

The first two are long discontinued and available only on the secondary market. I picked mine up on the big auction site over a period of several years.
