spyderco police question

Hello to all of you.
I just recieve my spyderco police from EBAY.
I've noticed that in most of the pictures of spyderco police there is some legal notes on the handle (see the picture - in red). and in my spyderco it isn't wrriten there.
Why is it not there ? is it o.k ?

It is fine,some old stock will have the info printed some wont.

i think that newer models don't have that information printed.
i may be wrong though.

The steel is VG-10

You probably don't realize it, but the Police is the OLDEST model still manufactured by Spyderco. It was introduced in 1984, and as far as I know, has been in continuous production ever since.

The design of the knife itself hasn't changed much if at all, but the pocket clip is the same one used on many other models, and *has* changed over the years.

Nothing at all wrong with your knife. Enjoy it!
