Spyderco PPT Or Benchmade mini onslaught

PPT all day long. I bought the Mini-Onslaught after I had the PPT thinking they looked similar enough that I would love them both, but I was sorely disappointed.

Not slamming benchmade either - I know they make good knives, but that mini-Onslaught was terrible (dull edge, uber-thin blade - and I'm no "thick blade" fan, but the Onslaught's was scary-thin). The overall fit/finish was just well below that of the PPT.

My only complaints about the PPT were design-specifics (wish it had a slightly better-shaped choil and that the tang didn't stick out when closed).

Here's pics of them side-by-side:

You are going to get just a little better grip and a little better blade steel (arguably) with the PPT. Bigger Spydie hole. Plus, Spyderco has a forum here at BF, and you can talk straight with Mr. Sal if you ever need to. The other differences you can see for yourself, like the different locks and blade profiles. I'll join the onslaught of votes (har har) for the PPT.
