Im a little late on this one, but I just played with one and I kinda like it. Any thoughts, have these held up well, and is it a ti lock? Thanks!

I have really been thinking about getting one of these because it doesnt look like i will be getting a yojimbo2 anytime soom

Pros:

Very good utility blade shape.
Perfect fit/finish.
Smooth action
Deep carry clip
Cool, unique design compared to rest of the spydie lineup

Cons:

A little heavy/chunky for EDC - this may or may not bug you...
Handle is a little small for large hands - it doesn't fit me perfectly...

All in all I really like mine and its in the rotation.

I love mine. It was my first Taichung knife and it was perfect. My only gripe, which doesn't dissuade me from carrying it, is the deep-carry clip. I am one of those few who does not like deep carry, though with the lanyard on the ppt, it is tolerable.

Mine was my favorite edc bar none- wicked strong lock, versatile grips, flat grind... The deep carry clip failed-in epic fashion- and I lost the knife. Carrying a Native now- the oldschool clips don't offer so much leverage when they get caught on stuff. I still would buy another if i had the $$$ though, it really is a great knife other than that.

I think Perrin is one of those knife designers that make me feel dumb.

The designs are so well thought out that I can´t understand the concept fully even after I had carried one of them for about 6 months. By mistake... sort of, I tried carrying my PPT IWB appendix and it just melted away. This is quite a hefty knife and still it carries in this position like it was made for it - yeah, I didn´t find the info on that this was what Perrin had in his mind. :o

Great lock-up. Full flat grind S30V blade. G10 handle that doesn´t slip. Jimping in the right places.

The clip is sturdy but I didn´t like that it was so pointy so I dremeld it down a bit. Perfect.

So a great knife, but check the clip before you buy.

/C.
