Spyderco product codes? Help!

Do Spyderco product codes change to reflect updated models?

Specifically I'm after the new Military, plain edge in S30V... now does that have the same product code as the original 440V version?

The code I have is C36GPE, does that relate to any specific version?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The SKUs do not change year to year. The only way to tell year to year is going by blade material, and finding that upgrade year in the books.

If you want, I can send you a txt file of the SKUs. Doesn't specify the edges(such as the Millie is GPSE(combo), GSE(serrated), and GPE(plain)... only says C36 on the list). SKU codes are easy when you get used to them.

I have the books 96-03(missing 99), dealer for 96, 01, 03.

Any questions as to steel type or mods(weight, size) just give me a shout on the forums.

edit: the s30v upgrade is 03, but as they were waiting for s60v(440v) models to clear first, it'll be late 03 models. Just listed as '03 model though.
