i'm seeing interesting things from spyderco, interesting and new things that have me intrigued

i have read about a military coming out in m4? and i saw a ti frame lock military

so i have to ask... does anyone know if spyderco plans on producing a g10/ti framelock m4 paramilitary????? if so my wallet is facked

The military in M4 is already out and sold out.

No word yet on a framelock version. If there is one, I suspect it will be a frame compression lock rather than a framelock, like the ATR (http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=118 if you are unfamiliar with it) just because the Para is a compression lock, while the Millie is a liner lock (that's really just a guess, though).

I just want another run of M4 Military's so everybody (like me) can get one. :)

idk, if i'm gonna dare to get a spydie its gonna have to be exactly what i'm looking for in it lol...

namely 3" blade, ti framelock, good looks, good steel

The M4 Millie was a Knifeworks exclusive, and I doubt Spyderco themselves are planning any other limited editions of the Para 2 given that they already have the CF/S90V and CTS20CP versions in the pipeline. So as with the Millie, if an M4 Para 2 is going to happen, it'd probably have to be a special order/exclusive for a particular merchant.

But since the M4 Millie seems to have been a success for Knifeworks (they long ago filled up their preorder list), perhaps they'd consider doing something similar with the Para 2. People voicing their interest in threads like this one are often how these things get started -- I know I'd buy one (or two, or three, if Knifeworks didn't limit pre-orders to 1 per customer  :p).

Sorry to break the news but Spyderco doesnt revolve around you.

I'm not sure if he has to buy the entire company to get a 3 inch blade with a frame lock and "good looks."

They'll make something like this, we just don't know when.

and i was just asking if there was something out there already that i haven't caught word of, or rumors of it in the works or not...

maybe sal himself will chime in? who knows

And there's already one still around that fits that description. Spyderco Sage 2.

Unless you want it made in Golden, CO.

idk, the sage doesn't really do anything for me. i REALLY like the ti frame lock military i saw, just wish it weren't 4"... so i thought i'd ask if there were plans in the works for a para version
