Decided to buy a knew knife and went through the knife boxes at the house. Some haven’t seen daylight for 20+ years. Found my Remote Release and it was always a favorite. I’m a lefty and the newer clip it version sucks when you’re left handed. So the knife is hanging on a belt loop again. And I did get that new knife, a Spyderco Manix 2 with the DLC black blade. Beautiful knife. It’s replacing a Zero Tolerance I’ve been carrying probably 10 years. Now I’m trying to decide between a dragonfly salt and a pacific salt. Just can’t decide which size I want.

I've never heard of that model. Any pics?

Nice score on the manix2. I recently lost my cf cruwear version and I miss it quite a lot. I didn't realize how often I carried it.

What zt were you packing?

I was carrying the 0350ST. Still very fond of it. But around Christmas the assisted opening spring crapped out after all that time. ZT/Kai fixed it promptly and sharpened the blade all at no charge. But I don’t have to worry about that happening again, hence going back to Spyderco.

I always like the Remote Release model far better than I did the Snap-It model which was also along the same lines. If actually using a model for climbing I would have far more confidence in the release mechanism of the Remote Release model over the Snap-It any day of the week.

Remote Release models are the 3 on the right.

For the life of me I can’t figure out how to post a picture. I’m working from an iPad. I’ve hit the camera button, the picture button, etc. it says I have no media. When I go to the media section it shows other members photos. How do I post my pictures?
