I noticed calyth on my "Starmate" post found virtue in this IMO fine
Spydie ; I like it better in the P&S
( or "combo edge" or whatever one wishes to defer to that configuration ) Yes, this "bastard"
is lighter than most of the knives of comparable type. Considering the 3.5" blade length ( or 3.75", oh, whatever!;)) The namesake fits this ol' "11"'s personae to a "T" ( perhaps as in "Treat";)) What say the augerers?

AET ;)

Well I mainly like the fact that it's one of the blades from Spyderco that doesn't have the extremely radically shaped blades (not that they don't work well, but some of them are just ugly as hell).
I mainly praise the knife because it's a clip point, has a good thin point (I've yet to manage to break the point yet), and it cuts very well. The handle is practically built with my hand in mind, and most of all, the blade dropped the first time I hold down the lock release. I just couldn't quite stand that some of the FRN Spyderco models need some work to get it to drop when the lock bar was depressed.
The steel is ok, it's not like VG-10 but it's still quite good, and it's tip down, making this long blade easier to draw for me.
Of course, it's a matter of personal opinion, I'm sure that you'll find people that curses at the Renegade ;)
The only thing I wish is to have the plain edge version.
