Sorry if this thread has been up before but I saw a picture of this tool and wondered if anyone knew when it was going to be available? Is Rench the correct name for it?

Mark - The schedule for the SpydeRench has us beginning to ship in August. So far we seem to be pretty close to schedule. However there are many already ordered and I would guess early production won't please the demand.

If I may put in a sales pitch here. I've used every prototype throughout the development. We're on 35 now. I carry and use the tool daily and find it very efficient and user friendly. The production piece has additional improvements.

Thanks for that Sal - no doubt we wont be seeing them in the UK until Christmas then! I carry a folder and a multi tool everyday for work and I must say from the photos this looks like it's going to be the one to beat.

I can only say that I am a bit jeleous that he has seen 35 different types of these and I just get to see pictures, but hey I guess that is the perks of being the President of the company rather than a college student

Ps. Spide has nothing to do with Spyderco, it is just an old callsign for Spiderman, my favorite cartoon character. It just sounds cheesy here in this fourm.
