i've had one for about a month and found it to be a great folder for food prep. a bit pricey but my girlfriend bought it for me so i can't complain.
slim profile and sharp as hell. anyone else got one? i think it would be a great knife for backpacking kitchen use when you've got a good stout fixed blade too.

I've been carrying one for a couple of weeks now. The jury is still out, but so far, I'm not terribly impressed. It cost as much as my CF/S90V Military, and it isn't in the same league performance-wise. The ergonomics are wrong for my hands, and VG-10 just doesn't have the wear resistence that I prefer for my work.

i do agree i'm not impressed either, as far as a edc folder goes it is a odd design, it does feel a little strange in the hand. i also think the cost is to high. This is my first sypderco i have been eyeing some of their models for a while. been mainly buying barkies and axes. i would take my d2 griptilian anyday over the lobster. i was just so impressed with the way it handled veggies, but i am finding it hard to carry all the time, just not as utilitarian as i like.
But a cool design none the less.

I just wish it had a full 4" blade (like the Military).

Sigh, hopefully the Popa Manix will come sooner rather than later.
