After waiting for a long while for my Rubicon, I have to say... this is one little blade that not only lived up to the hype but much surpassed it. This last year I have been buying mostly mid techs and customs. My bar for knives has been raised pretty high and with that said, the Rubicon sits right up there with some of the best! Congrats Peter Carey & Sal for bringing this little guy to market.

Once my Rubicon was in hand, I wanted to do something to make it mine... I wanted it to stand out from the others (just a bit) Here are the results.

*Disclaimer: Yes, i know my warranty is voided :p

The Liners were etched and anodized blue... (Nice job on the Carbidizing!)
In the disassembled pic, I haven't cleaned them yet so there's still a bit of a haze in the center on one of the liners. The clip, which i thought was Ti... Is actually a steel clip. Slight gripe there.... For $300+ Ti would have been nice. So I had to flame color the clip, Man it's tough to get the right shade of blue. I may just make a Ti clip for it but the flamed steel is growing on me.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME FOR CUSTOM WORK AS I DO NOT HAVE A KNIFE MAKERS MEMBERSHIP... I WOULD HATE FOR EITHER OF US TO GET BANNED.

Thanks for looking :)

When I started reading this I didn't think I'd be impressed but I have to say that I think it looks better than the original. Nicely done man.

That is exceptional work, for an exceptional knife!!

Thank you Quiet, it's these small touches that make the differences

Cool blade shape and colors
Dont like linerlocks

Glad you like the colors :D

Thanks Riz!

that simple change is a complete improvement, no question i'd take blue over stock.

I actually saw it on a Peter Carey Nitro and really liked the way the CF played off of the Blue anodizing. Thanks for your input!

Love the work! You're making it harder for me not to add one of those to my cart...

Ha! The blade just by itself is a lot of fun to sit there and flip...

Well done, looks fantastic.

Thank you Kreyzhorse! Much appreciated!

Looks great Martin, awesome job⚡️⚡️

Right on! Thanks Mike, means a lot coming from you. I know your standards are pretty high (thumbup)
