Now that both Native Chief Sprint Runs have been released, My attention falls to the Carbon Fiber Lil Native.

After only buying larger Knives to fit my XL-XXL Sized hands, I took a chance on the Lil Native comp lock a couple years ago, Based on stellar reviews. I couldn't believe how useful the knife was for light to medium work around the house and in the workshop.

I describe the knife as my Spyderco utility/box cutter to friends and family. It's so stout, The feeling in hand while cutting Is amazing.

Who's interested in this little gem?

I wish it's a backlock.
I also prefer the back lock. It’s lighter, and the lanyard hole means I can remove the clip and wear it around my neck on a quick release.

I’d be happy to have a CF version, but on a stout little blade like this, would prefer a tougher steel over a harder one.

Ultimately, the biggest killer for me is the price - it’s a lot to put down for a little knife.

A CruCarta lockback version (without adding liners) for $50 less would get me excited. I think I’ll pass on this.

The lil Native is stellar in use. The SE version packs a punch. It’s my go to box opener, anything opener. When I go into the city it’s my carry.

I like Lil Native! Ideally I would love to see one with S90V blade, backlock construction with stainless steel liners, and exclusively colored G10 or Micarta. Tough little SoB:)

Looks like the S90V Carbon Fiber Lil Native Sprint is finally shipping to dealers. KWs has a pre order up as it says "add to cart" coming soon!
