There are several listings going for $75 shipped!

how did the price drop so drastically??
Now I feel I gotta pick a 2nd one up...

Any reasons for the dramatic price drop?

I have read that a distributor has been offering a deal on them to the resellers.

Despite my intention of limiting my purchases, I just couldn't ignore such great deals. I've got a Sage 1 on the way. Soon my Sage 2 will have a new friend.

hah yeah I almost can't resist buying a 2nd Sage 1 as a back up or later investment for another knife...

I see some sellers list it with liner lock and others say ball detent; these are both for the "Walker" version, not the Titanium. Have they made 3 versions thus far?

2 versions. Walker liner lock with CF scales and the Titanium RIL (Framelock)

Only two versions so far, the Walker liner lock and the Reeve integral lock.

Both have a "ball detent". This does not denote the type of lock, it just calls out an obvious feature which both would of course have.

It's the little ball press fit into and near the end of the locking liner or bar that keeps the blade closed and prevents it form flopping open when casually handled. The ball rides against the tang as you open and close the knife.

Got my $70 shipped Sage I today. Great knife; hard to believe textured CF, S30V, and this level of F&F can be had so inexpensively.

The Sage I has an excellent liner lock, but I had to laugh a little having carried my Bradley for the last few days. Huge difference in the thickness of the locking liners!

That's more of a compliment to the Bradley, not a knock on the Sage at all. It's still a great knife, and I have zero concern regarding the lock.

I've got one on order. Looks like I probably won't get it till Monday now, but I agree that the price is just ridiculous for such a great knife.
