Is there one worth buying over the others? On Amazon, they're all close to $90. So which would make a good heavy duty edc?

Sage 1 - nice knife, but not really one I would consider heavy duty; probably more medium duty
Native FRN - didn't care much for it; finger choil felt a bit off - Native5 is much nicer
Manix2 XL - haven't handled this one, but this probably fits the "heavy duty" bill the best of the 3 you listed

Sage 1 - beautiful general EDC/gentleman's folder.

Manix 2 XL - a heavy duty EDC folder, at least by my definition. Large in width but easy to carry, grips very securely, excellent ambidextrous one hand open/close. Get one.

I don't have a Native so can't comment.

Manix 2 XL is the only one that really fits that bill, IMO, though the Native FRN is more than tough enough for most things. Just keep in mind that the blade on the Manix 2 XL is fine for tough cutting, but it's not overly thick or ground to sustain a lot of lateral stress.
