Hey Sal, and everybody, I'm a 61 y/o hillbilly from WV and I've had a whole heaping lot of knives go thru these hands. But there's one that kinda stood the test of time with me. The Sage. I happen to have a Sage I, but I also love the Sage II. These knives are perfect. The only thing I think I'd change if I possibly could would be to see Golden Co on the knife instead of whats on there now.

I love it so much I have a backup, brand new in the box. I not saying this one might break, but a guy MIGHT lose one? Heaven help me. :)

Like I said, I've been thru a lot of them, but I love the feel and the shape of the blade. I can reach in my pocket one handed, pull her out, open it up, slice or cut something and close it with the same hand while holding the object to be cut in the other hand.

Thanks Sal for a sweet knife.

Well said Kootaga! I picked up a Sage 1 a few weeks ago and I can really see where your coming from! It's an amazing little knife that's tough enough for almost anything and looks good doing it too! Definitely a home run in my book!

My Sage 1 is one of my favorites knives. Just seems to the be perfect balance of size, weight, toughness, performance, build quality.

i have had my sage 1 about 2 years now, grate over all fit/finish,and just got a sage 2 two weeks ago hear of the exchange, its a really solid frame-lock as well, love its leaf shaped blade, the sage 1 is more easy to open though!and flick.

I have a Sage 2 and it's the knife that I use as a benchmark for every other knife. The size, ergonomics, price, quality, etc, are all in the sweet spot for me. You can't go wrong with the Sage series. Sage 5 is on the way, and I think I'll like it even more!

Thank you Sal and all my brothers. Love those Sage's. I'm not a collector and I don't have any safe queens. Heck I don't even have a safe. I'm a pretty practical hillbilly but....I think I may need to get me a Sage II. :)
