One of my hobbies are coral reef tanks so I deal a lot with saltwater.

I'm thinking of picking up one of the salt knives from Spyderco to use for opening bags, cutting zip ties, boxes, etc.. (rust proof). Can someone recommend which model I should purchase? I'm thinking Pacific Salt plain edge but that Tasman is very eye appealing..

Salt I is a very handy little knife. Lot of cutting power in that blade. There is one in my pocket right now :)

I handled an Atlantic, get the serrated though, better edge retention.

I have a Salt 1, and it is my beach knife. It goes swimming. Great knife!! The Pacific Salt is a bigger than I wanted to carry. The Salt 1 is perfect for me.
