Spyderco Schemmp Rock

Hey guys, I'm almost sold on buying a Spyderco Schemmp Rock for my new hike knife. I love the look of the thing and lately I've become very fond of the Spyderco Knives. I've been reading a lot of reviews on it but have yet to hear any thing on how this blade batons as I will be doing some fire craft with it but not a ton. So my question is: Does anyone own this fine blade, and or have done any batoning with it? The thin blade just kind of worry's me but hey I might even just buy this thing cause its so purdy!

It's an odd knife, more of a fighter or camp knife than really a chopper. At least that is what I've heard.
