Spyderco Service redux

Hi Guys
Some time ago I had a whine about the service from SFO. All is now forgiven, I just recieved a shapened, refurbished LH C07 FS from the warranty service people. Spyderco have tranformed a tatty Ebay buy into a knife worthy of display with the other 30+ Police Models.
Many thanks to Amanda, who really nows what Customer service is.

Jeez Phil, is it your plan to own every police model on the planet? Is this a precursor to world domination :D

Yep I've got the bug real bad, now have representatives of all the main Police
variants Aluminium,Tuffram, Titanium, Black, Carbon Fiber, G-10 and S/steel. have also covered most of the blade steels and markings, it's getting hard and expensive to fill the gaps now. World domination is next on the agenda. :D :D :D

Did you end up getting that one from Perth?

I got two from the Perth contact you gave me. He emailed me his Spyderco inventory and I picked the ones i wanted. Prices were steep though. still helped build my collection, so an excellent result all round.

They do have some gems in Perth army surplus stores - because of the slow turnover they will have knives on display for years (literally). I picked up a c-15 Bob Terzoula, a Vesuvius (with a very good compression lock - some of these early ones were dodgy apparently) and a Blackhawk (the G-10 precursur to the native), only the blackhawk was overpriced - the others were quite competetive.

Still, I prefer your approach, My Ninja army will all have different blades and that's just messy..........

It only gets messy here when She Who Must be Obeyed sees another Police in the cabinet. Sometimes I get away with it for months. :D :D
