Spyderco Shaman SMKWs Exclusive-DLC S45VN Smoky Gray Canvas Micarta

Thank you for posting this.
Nice to keep up on new arrivals here.
In the future, if time allows, I’ll post a dedicated thread (Like RamZar did) to not clutter up the board with multiple new releases post. Everybody who sees a new production ,Sprint, or exclusive can contribute the info to the main thread, if they choose. There’s so many it’s hard to keep track…but that’s why I love Spyderco! 😎

WOW!

I LOVE THIS!

I'm sure that I will have zero chance of scoring on though. Awesome looking knife!

I handled this knife at Blade Show and it was great. The scales were nice and grippy too.

They still have some in stock. They're now selling them for $199, which I guess counts as a blowout.

Mine is supposed to show up tomorrow. My first Shaman. Much excite.

They were down to $179.00 for Black Friday but I doubt we’ll see that price again. Congrats..that’s an awesome price for a great knife!!

Thanks DA170 DA170 . I just received it and I think it was a fantastic bargain. Very happy with the purchase. Small family shot:

It's my first time handling a Shaman and it's actually slimmer and lighter than I had expected. Based on pictures and descriptions I thought the scales would be chunkier. In any case they're substantial, and nicely rounded. The knife feels great in hand. Despite the different ergonomics, it's not too far off in feel from the Mule. I am much happier with my grip on this versus the thinner handles of my Persian or the FRN models I've owned.

Thick blade stock, but it seems to cut well, in my very short time with it so far. One thing I noticed right away is that the mass of the blade makes it feel slightly blade-heavy in motion, even though the balance point is well behind the pivot.

Love the feel and look of the micarta. The whole package is right up my alley; this scheme on a Chief or Manix would have me drooling. The knife arrived in perfect shape, sharp as you like, does all the things. I've never been one to fidget much, but I suppose this model helps me see the appeal.
