Are the Sharpmaker with the VHS an older version? Is the CD the newer one? Or is their no difference between the products?
 
VHS? all the current ones come with a dvd. as long as it's a model 204 its the same thing that you can get today.
 
That would just be hilarious if the Sharpmaker came with a VHS tape...just comedic...

Well, it wasn't that long ago that the Sharpmaker did come with a VHS tape. My original 204 came with a VHS and I gave the Sharpmaker and VHS to my sister (she didn't have a DVD player at the time). My second 204 was one of the first to come with a DVD, but my 203 certainly came with a VHS. It won't be long before Sal's how-to demonstration will be a digital download that will be transmitted to the implanted media chips that will one day be in our brains. :rolleyes:

I saw a post on the selling forums. It said it came with the VHS. So I thought it was the older version. Are their a difference in stone "grit"?
 
The original instructions were VHS. That was before DVD's were common. Then we just converted. The stones are the same.

That was before DVD. VHS Tapes are larger than life :eek:
 
the origninal did not come with anything but a book, that slid into a sleeve. I know because I still have mine.
 
VHS came before DVD. It's a large black box with a spool of magnetic tape inside. Super-sized cassette if you will.

Just figured I would toss that up there for those who don't know. :D

I still have my VHS as well, never even watched it and now I dont have a VHS Player anymore. Is there anywhere to buy just the dvd?
