While watching reruns of "B 5" last week, I noticed a very brief cameo appearance of a Spyderco product. I'm not sure of the model; it had an s-shaped hawkbill kind of shape, like a 3- or 4-inch Harpy? It was wielded by a bad-guy played by Richard Moll (of "Night Court" fame) to intimidate a prisoner.

Isn't it good to know that Spyderco will still be going strong in the 22nd century?

Ooooh, I think I can guess what that might be. Hint: it's the opposite of "Military"

Very good eye. It's pretty exciting to think that when we go into space and meet aliens who played on "Night Court," they'll also have developed Spydercos. Convergent technology, what a wonderful thing...

The R. Moll character was actually just your basic bad-guy human (or "Earther"). The only other blades I remember seeing are used by the Drhazi(sp?). They're essentially push-daggers w/ approx. 12" triangular or wavy blades.
