Spyderco Slyderfly Help

Hey everyone I was just wondering what a reasonable price for a VG-10 Spyderco SpyderFly would be? If anybody could help me out I would really be appreciative. Thanks.

Also has anyone ever herd of a SpyderFly breaking, and are the handles of it mad to bend so that they can touch each other? Thank you.

Hard to put a value on one since eBay doesn't allow listings for balisongs. The VG-10 ones are somewhat rare, as the steel was changed to 440C before they were discontinued and recalled for destruction as part of a settlement with ICE. Limited production, plus the cachet of being "forbidden fruit" both add to their value. Never heard of the handles breaking. They will bend enough to touch each other in the open position. The latch spring, on the other hand, has been known to break.
