Spyderco Slysz Bowie Replacement Pivot

If I'm reigniting a trampled thread from the past, please excuse that. I've tried looking around for a replacement primary pivot for a Slysz Bowie, but I'm losing confidence in the likelihood I'll find one of these anytime soon. I grabbed a used Slysz off of Ebay this morning and did not find out that it had a marred pivot until after I purchased it and really zoomed in on the photo. I get it's my fault so I'm just dealing with the consequences and seeing where I could potentially find one? I'm assuming Spyderco wouldn't have them since they don't make them anymore. Any insight is appreciated..Thanks.

You won't know if they don't have one or not unless you ask. Have you done that yet?

Yes, both times that I've called Spyderco's support line I was redirected to a warranty and parts dept and had to leave a vmail in a general box. I'll definitely stay on top of that route in the interim.

FWIW, I've always been able to reach a "real person" in the warranty repair/service dept (there are only a couple guys there) when I've called. If you haven't gotten an answer to the question yet, keep trying. FWIW, I can't imagine they don't have at least a couple of these pivots still lying around somewhere even if the knife has been discontinued.

I appreciate the insight, as a new guy on here getting info is more challenging as I haven't connected with too many people as of yet. I'm sure I'm just calling at the wrong time in the afternoon and need to try earlier in the day when those people are available to talk. I'll stay optimistic and see what I can dig up but thanks for your suggestion to stay on them, it gives me a bit of hope.
