Spyderco Smock lock design

I'm not to familiar with Smock knives but I love the new Spyderco Smock design. However after giving it some thought wouldn't a full tight grip actuate the push button lock? Anyone have some experience with the Smock design share your experience.

It doesn’t seem to be a problem on any other button lock knives.

I have the custom version. I've never accidentally disengaged the lock.
