What do you think? Would a Spyderco Smock m390 with upgraded smooth Titanium scales be worth $500? I don't have one but that is what I would need to pay to get one.

What it's worth is completely subjective.

If you want it bad enough, then it's worth it.

I don't like Ti handles knives so the answer is an easy "No" for me. I'd rather have the orginal DLT M390 version with the red G10. YMMV.

Not me. Unless it’s rare or for a collection, in my opinion $500 is well past Spyderco and Benchmade money.
