Decided to upload a video I had made that didn't really meet my approval, however since it only took about 30 minutes (compared to several hours before) to upload I said why not.
Enjoy!

Thanks Luis.
I own both knives but haven't taken either apart for comparison.
Definitely pros n cons for each knife but I still can't decide which I prefer.
They are both on my never sell / trade list so I guess it doesn't matter.

I bought the Southard to decide for myself if it lived up to the hype, and my honest opinion is that that it is worth what I paid, but moving production to the US would not justify added cost.

Well I sold off my southard/zt 561 a while back..
I will be getting another ZT 561 soon enough so I think that should speak volumes as to which I prefer in the end.

The southard is a shame for me really, the southard is excellent in just about every point except it's 4mm stock, low width and aggressive hollow grind feels like an oxymoron. It doesn't make for a great slicer compared to other knives even my ZT 561 was better at slicing cardboard. This is pretty much what disappointed me in the end.
