Sal -- I told one guy at KnifeForums that Spyderco made the Special Service for Timberline.

Are there any other folders Spyderco made for other companies?

Titan - Yes, Spyderco designed the Timberline "Special Service" model. Set up the patents, trademarks and original production to monitor quality.

At this time, Timberline is handling everything themselves. We wanted to make sure that they got off to a good start and that the "Diamond" shaped opening hole was protected for them.

Spyderco also invented the Lansky "Fold-A-Vee" sharpener.

The only other knife designs that we have made for other companies would be variations of Spyderco designs, such as: the slotted Navigator for Boker in Europe, The Matriarch and BF Native.

We do have another design ready for another company with another shaped opening hole that already has a number of patents covering the model.
