Spyderco: special sharpener for serrations????

I heard a description of a special sharpener for serrations in recent blade discussion thread. This sharpener sharpened one large and two small serrations at a time.

I e-mailed the forum member who posted this information. He informed me that he obtained these specially shaped ceramic files (medium & fine grit) from Spyderco.

I am very interested in these. I've never seen them advertised. Are they available?

Ptn - I don't think that we've made those for 10 years. about 5 or 6 inches long. Had one set of "teeth".

Don't know where you can get one. I'll keep my eyes open for any "hiding" in corners.

Why did you stop making them?...because the Sharpmaker does the job just as well?
