Spyderco Spending Freeze

Been a while since I have posted in the Spyderco forum.

First off, when first signing up on BFs it is Spyderco that intrigued me the most and is the company that makes the bulk of my collection. After signing up I have expanded my Spyderco collection from 1 to 33 spydies, varying all kinds of models and variations of models.

edit: Since than a handful have been sold.

Now knowing what I like and dislike I have just about exhausted my "List" of Spydies to get. :thumbup:

The list has been reloaded and is solely waiting on all the protos to be released!

I'm experiencing a freeze until some of these new models come out, hope I can hold out till then! :D

I'm going to try the same thing. I've sold a couple non Spyderco knives to build up the reserves. I'm really hoping to get the newer models as they trickle out. This is going to be as good a year as 2009 for Spyderco afficionados.
 
come on man, just give in to the pressure :eek: ;)

i hear ya on the spending freeze and what not, at least im not alone :D ;)
 
I'm trying the same thing. My bank account was starting to protest. Luckily, the Gayle Bradley is sold out at a number of places so I have to wait.
 
I tried this for awhile last year. It worked for a bit, now I'm back in the game again. :D

That's sounds like me, in and out, in and out. Right now I'm semi-back in but all the knives I'm buying are pre-orders. That way they trickle in rather than all at the same time! :D

Well it is illegal to carry a knife in Sweden but stupid laws must be ignored right?!.
Since I got the Dragonfly g10 I have had a hard time to let it go, it´s just the perfect gentelmans folder. But picking just one is hard very hard I got at least 10 favorites.
 
Currently my Spydie collection is probably as low as it has been in a while.

Oh and 2 Para-Military models both PE but neither are here yet though as I just got em ordered and paid for yesterday. One will be a safe queen just in case the Para II replaces the old standby.
and I guess if I count the two Byrd Flatbyrds then I can add these.

Thats it for my inventory of Spydies this year. So what 11 Spydercos and two Byrd knives. Way low for this guy let me tell you!

and its not just Spyderco... Add Busse Game Warden I bought recently and I probably buy from fellow forumite a Busse Customshop Peter Cuile Tail... That is such beautiful knife!


Spyderco and Busse... Good but expensive... I am addicted to INFI and Spyderhole.
